The client wanted to digitize dental exams, but it was difficult to assure high accuracy and usefulness in a variety of lighting conditions, tooth shapes, and camera angles.

My goal from the beginning was to create a solution that was not only clever but also useful and simple to use. We worked in real time across teams, adhered to agile development cycles, and were very clear about our milestones in order to maintain the product’s accuracy, usability, and scalability. In order to make a health tech product a reality, I made sure that our data scientists, iOS developers, and healthcare specialists worked together harmoniously.
We also ran extensive testing across different devices and user groups to make sure the AI performed reliably in real-world conditions. Our objective was straightforward but effective: we wanted to employ AI to make preventive dental care more accessible, particularly for those who might not otherwise have it. This study demonstrated to me the transformative power of the proper combination of technology and medical knowledge.
