Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable System Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide end-user support, manage network and server environments, and ensure smooth operation of on-premises and cloud-based systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, technical depth across multiple domains, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 technical support to end users for hardware, software, and operating system-related issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.
- Manage and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Update services.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Support and manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP – as applicable).
- Perform backup operations, monitor backup jobs, and support restore activities; ensure data protection best practices are followed.
- Assist with datacenter operations, including server management, cabling coordination, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot and support video conferencing and collaboration devices (e.g., Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, conference hardware).
- Monitor system performance, identify issues proactively, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and asset records.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and support.
- Travel to other offices or client locations as required for IT support and infrastructure activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and Mac OS troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with networking technologies (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Updates/WSUS.
- Working knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with backup technologies and data protection concepts.
- Experience supporting end-user hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of datacenter management and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to other office locations when required.
