Day 1Leaving for Jaisalmer
Day 2We arrived at Jaisalmer by noon and reached the hotel tents. After lunch, we had some rest followed by hi-tea then went for Sunset Point / Safari & Camel Ride. The ride was bumpy but thrilling. We stopped at a few picturesque spots along the way, including a small oasis and a few dunes. In the evening, we watched a cultural dance performance and enjoyed traditional Rajasthani cuisine. Then we began with our Show Your Talent Performances & Prize Distribution. It was a fun-filled night and we enjoyed it a lot. Every one of us participated in the talent show and the best performances won awards.
Day 3Morning Camel Ride/ Morning Desert Walk – Sunrise point After breakfast, we went to Tanot mata temple & Longewala. Tanot Mata Temple is a shrine dedicated to the Hindu goddess Tanot Mata, who is believed to have protected the Indian soldiers during the Indo-Pak war of 1965. The temple is situated close to the India-Pakistan border and is known for its miraculous history of protecting soldiers and the surrounding area during the war. The temple is considered a symbol of the bravery of the Indian soldiers and is a popular tourist destination. Longewala is a small border town located close to the India-Pakistan border. It is famous for the Battle of Longewala, which took place during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. In the evening we had DJ & Dinner followed by Night Safari. This is a popular evening activity that combines dining, entertainment, and wildlife viewing in the desert region of Rajasthan, India. We went on a night safari in a 4×4 vehicle to explore the desert and its nocturnal wildlife.
Day 4Morning Camel Ride/ Morning Desert Walk Then we visited Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the 12th century. The fort is made of sandstone and is one of the largest forts in the world. We were amazed by the intricate carvings and the stunning views of the city from the top of the fort.
In conclusion, our trip to Jaisalmer was an incredible experience that we will never forget. From exploring the stunning architecture of the city to enjoying a desert safari and camping under the stars, every moment was memorable.
