Our client, a large California real estate firm, wanted one place to manage project-related details across the company, reachable from any device. Their people already spent the working day inside Microsoft Teams. Rather than send them to yet another separate system, the firm wanted the CRM to come to them, embedded directly in Teams and usable as naturally as any other tab.

A CRM that had to feel native to Teams
- Teams was where work happened, but project and CRM data sat outside it. Leadership lacked a clean, at-a-glance view of every project and its status, and end users had to context-switch to separate web tools to update anything. The firm needed a responsive app that ran inside Teams, reachable from Web, Desktop and Mobile, with a native look and feel and no second login to slow people down.

What PSSPL Built
One custom Teams app, two clean halves
PSSPL delivered the solution in two parts. The front end is a Microsoft Teams project scaffolded with the Microsoft Teams Toolkit and built in React with Fluent UI, presented as custom personal tabs that hold all of the application logic. The back end is a .NET Core API application deployed to Azure App Service, with Microsoft SQL Server as the data store. Data lives in Azure SQL, the app is served from Azure Web App Service, and it renders inside Teams so it feels like a first-class part of the platform.
Built end to end on the Microsoft stack
Because the app is a Teams app hosted on Azure and backed by SQL Server, it dropped straight into the client’s existing Microsoft environment, fitting their identity, security and licensing from day one.

Single Sign-On means users are already authenticated the moment they open the tab, with no second login. And Power Automate quietly handles the busywork, sending the right emails automatically when and where they are needed.
