Client Overview
PSSPL collaborated with an enterprise that was keen to explore how wearable technology could transform automotive operations. The goal was to rethink Snapchat Spectacles as a powerful, hands-free, AI-powered productivity tool rather than treating them like another consumer AR device.
The enterprise wanted to rethink how inspections were done on the workshop floor. Through the use of spatial computing, they sought to reduce technician downtime, expedite paperwork, and facilitate specialists’ ability to lead teams remotely.
Three purpose driven AR lenses were built by PSSPL to bring this vision to life, with the AR Vehicle Inspection System emerging as the primary, business-critical solution. To further enhance its impact, real-time live streaming was integrated, enabling managers to observe inspections as they happen – with annotations, checklist progress, and AR overlays visible directly within the live feed. This created real-time collaboration with complete insight into every stage of the inspection process, not simply remote viewing.
